Type C FIBC bulk bags are the preferred solution for handling combustible dusts, flammable powders, and materials in explosive atmosphere zones. The woven polypropylene fabric incorporates a regular grid of electrically conductive carbon threads that create a continuous pathway to safely route static electricity to ground.

Grounding is absolutely mandatory — the conductive threads must be connected to a verified earth ground at all times during filling, storage, and discharge. Using a Type C bag without a proper ground connection eliminates its protective function and creates a severe ignition hazard.

Type C bags are tested and certified to IEC 61340-4-4 with a fabric-to-loop resistance of less than 10⁷ Ω. Each bag features visible conductors so operators can visually confirm ground connectivity before and during use.
